President’s Awards: One of the most coveted honours at EdUHK, the President’s Awards are presented annually to staff members who excel in various categories, including:
- Outstanding Performance in Teaching
- Outstanding Performance in Research
- Outstanding Performance in Knowledge Transfer
- Outstanding Performance in Administrative Services
These awards recognise the efforts of individual staff members and inspire a commitment to innovation, leadership, and educational excellence.
The President Awards Ceremony will be held annually to celebrate and recognise the award recipients for their significant contributions to the University’s success.
Long Service Awards: EdUHK values the loyalty and dedication of its long-serving employees. The Long Service Awards recognise staff members who have devoted significant years of service to the University. An annual ceremony will be organised to honour their dedication and celebrate their long-standing commitment to the University. These awards are presented for 15, 20, 25, and 30 years of service.

Criteria for Award Selection

The President’s Awards honour staff members for their outstanding achievements and contributions in teaching, research, knowledge transfer and administrative excellence. The Selection Panel will look for evidence to consider each individual/team nomination on its own merit with reference to the established criteria. The Long Service Awards recognise staff members’ years of dedicated service and their continuous contributions to EdUHK. In determining the length of service, the period served on full-time monthly basis (including non-regular terms) will be counted up to 31 December of the relevant year. Any break in service of no more than three months will be treated as continuous service.
