Message from the Director of Human Resources

At EdUHK, our Human Resources team is dedicated to building a dynamic and agile organisation that remains responsive to the evolving needs of the education sector. As Director of Human Resources, my vision is to cultivate a vibrant, engaged workforce that is empowered to achieve both personal and institutional excellence.

Our Teams and Key Responsibilities

  • Account Servicing (Faculties and Academic Units / Administrative and Academic Support Units): collaborates with faculties and departments to strengthen the University’s teaching, research, and administrative capacity; and handles various HR and appointment-related matters for both academic and administrative support units.
  • Staff Benefits Policies: manages competitive compensation packages and staff benefits to ensure that EdUHK attracts and retains top talent.
  • HR Data and Analytics: manages various HR systems to enhance data utilisation and operational efficiency. 
  • Training and Staff Relations: provides a range of training programmes tailored to enhance skills across the University; and fosters staff relations through various activities and initiatives that promote continuous professional growth and staff engagement.
  • Equal Opportunities and Disability Access Officer: ensures equal opportunities and disability access across the University; facilitates an inclusive and accessible environment for all staff members.
